At a glance

What one session includes

• 5 core questions based on the job description you pasted.
• Up to 2 follow-up questions across the session.
• One retry for each core question.
• Each spoken answer is limited to 120 seconds (this may change).
• Written feedback on each answer, and a summary at the end.

You can make up to 6 attempts to start a session in any rolling 24 hours. Attempts that failed to prepare, and sessions you later deleted, still count towards the limit; picking up a session you already started does not. This limit is configurable. These limits may change; a change will not reduce a session you have already started.

When a credit is used

A credit is reserved when you start a session and used when you receive your first piece of feedback. If we cannot set up the session, the credit is returned. If a session has produced no feedback 48 hours after it was created (48 hours is configurable), the reserved credit is returned and the session is marked unfinished.

7-day practice pass (if and when offered)

The pass is not offered yet. This section describes it so the terms are clear before it is switched on.

• A pass gives access for 7 days from when it starts. It ends by itself, it does not renew, and it is not a subscription.
• While it is active, up to 3 sessions in any rolling 24 hours use the pass and not your credits. After those 3, sessions use your credits if you have any, up to the overall limit of session starts in 24 hours. A pass is not unlimited.
• The price is set and shown by the app store in your local currency before you confirm. Final price: the price shown in the app store when you buy.
• If you buy another pass while one is running, the new one starts when the current one ends.
• The time keeps running if the service is unavailable. We may add time at our discretion, but we do not promise to.
• Refund requests go to the app store. If a pass is refunded, access under it ends at once; sessions already started are not taken back. If you delete your account, any time left is lost.

Price and tax

The app store shows the price, in your local currency and including any taxes it adds, before you confirm. We do not take payment ourselves and never see your card details.

Expiry

Credits do not expire in the first version of the app. We will not introduce expiry for credits you have already bought without telling you first.

Refunds

Refund requests go to the app store that took the payment. If a purchase is refunded, we may reduce or remove the related credits. Refund and balance policy: payments and refunds are handled by the app store that took the payment; if a store refunds a purchase we remove only the credits that are still unused, never below zero; if a session fails on our side before you receive feedback, its credit is returned automatically, and if you think a credit was lost please contact us; we do not refund sessions that have already been used; unused credits do not expire.

New phone or reinstalling

Credits belong to your account, not your device. Sign in with the same email address and your balance appears. Consumable purchases cannot be restored through the app store, so signing in is how you get your balance back.

If you delete your account

Any remaining practice credits are lost when you delete your account. We cannot restore or refund them. See how to delete your account.

What a pack does not do

A pack gives you practice and written feedback. It does not guarantee an interview, a job offer or any other outcome, and the app does not predict whether you will be hired. See the terms of use.
